The internship programme is available for unemployed KZN graduates with the following qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Public Management, Administration & Business Management
- Degree/Diploma in Secretariat/ Office Management/ Management Assistant/ Office Technology
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management or Public Management
- B.Com Degree/Diploma in Financial Management
- B.Com Degree/ Diploma in Financial Management, Supply Chain Management or Logistics
- Diploma/ Certificate in Electrical/ Plumbing/ Carpentry
- Enrolled Nurse Certificate + registration with SANC
- Degree in Social Work +registration with HPCSA
The internship programme offers 17 positions in the Ethekwini District, with a reference number of INT 24. The successful candidates will be placed in various units within the Department, such as Administration, Secretariat, Human Resource Management, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Workshop/ Maintenance, Nursing, and Social Work.

- Z83 forms can be collected from Human Resources Office of all the Health District Offices, Hospitals and Institutions as well as Head Office.
- Attach original certified copies of educational qualifications (certificates), Identity Document and updated curriculum vitae.
- A signed affidavit from the Commissioner of Oath as proof of unemployment, clearly indicating that you have not benefited from the internship programme before.
