Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma (Grade 12 / Matric)
- Pharmacy Degree (BPharm or equivalent)
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- 2-3 years of Pharmaceutical experience
- 2-3 years of retail pharmacy experience (Even if you’re a student or intern!)
- Computer literate – MS Office
Bonus Points if You Have:
- Previous retail/FMCG experience
- Knowledge of a third language
- SAP or E-scripting experience
- Registered tutor
- Unisolv experience
Your Mission: Duties and Responsibilities
Ready for some action? Here’s what you’ll be up to:
1. Providing Top-Notch Pharmaceutical Care:
- Evaluate patients’ medicine-related needs, ensuring safety and effectiveness of therapy.
- Dispense prescribed medicines and substances.
- Check and sign off on all prescriptions prepared by assistants or interns.
2. Financial Finesse:
- Process Supply Operational expenditure on the Ariba system.
- Handle financial transactions like Debit and Credit notes on SAP.
3. Stock Management Superhero:
- Control SAP stock movements for the Supply department.
- Monthly reconciliation and clearing Natref dispatch plant.
- Investigate and resolve any wonky stock balances.
- Manage the purchasing, acquiring, importing, and more of medicines.
4. Customer Care Champion:
- Accurately interpret scripts, ensuring legal compliance.
- Provide clear instructions on medicine use to patients.
- Keep updated on medical aid procedures for claims and dispensing.
- Assist and advise patients at the dispensary and front-shop.
5. Administrative Ace:
- Process paperwork for accurate claims to medical aids.
- Maintain customer profiles on the system.
- Keep things in order with Bi-annual stock takes and stock control processes.
6. Super Competencies You Need:
- Strong command of English and another language.
- Good communication, listening, and dosing skills.
- Customer-focused with supervisory and leadership abilities.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Team player with trustworthy and honest traits.
- Time management pro who can handle pressure.
